Solar Park Untermünkheim – Baden-Württemberg
Novar has acquired a solar project in Untermünkheim, Baden-Württemberg. The project consists of three sites and has a planned total capacity of approximately 100 MWp. In addition, the potential integration of a battery energy storage system with an expected capacity of around 160 MWh is currently being assessed.

The projects were originally initiated by Stromernte. At the end of December 2025, Novar took over the project. Since then, Novar has been working together with Stromernte on its further development.
Novar is responsible for the next steps in the project, while Stromernte provides support through its local expertise. For Novar, this project marks an important step in Germany, as it is the company’s first project in southern Germany.
The project is located in Untermünkheim in the state of Baden-Württemberg and is spread across three sites. A large part of the area is situated close to infrastructure corridors, providing favourable conditions for the development of a large-scale solar project.

The Untermünkheim project combines scale, local collaboration and a strategic location. Spread across three sites in Baden-Württemberg, it is Novar’s first project in southern Germany. Novar is also assessing the integration of a battery energy storage system.
With a planned capacity of around 100 MWp, the project can make an important contribution to renewable energy generation in Baden-Württemberg. Its three sites and favourable local conditions provide a strong foundation for generating solar power.
In addition, Novar is assessing whether a battery energy storage system can be integrated into the project. This would make it possible to store electricity more efficiently and use it at a later stage.
