At Novar, ESG is not a checkbox exercise. Even when EU regulations changed in 2024 and companies of our size were no longer obliged to report, we chose to continue. With the same ambition and consistency. Because ESG is not about ticking boxes, it is about aligning our strategy with the long-term value we want to create for people, planet and society.

As a developer of renewable energy systems, our impact goes far beyond the megawatts we deliver. Every project we build touches ecosystems, communities, and supply chains. And with that comes responsibility.
That is why we focus on four key areas that define our ESG journey. We are reducing COâ‚‚ by establishing a clear carbon baseline and embedding emission reduction across operations and supply chains. We integrate biodiversity and circularity into our projects, ensuring nature-inclusive design and stronger circular procurement. We place people and wellbeing at the heart of our strategy, investing in mental health, diversity, inclusion, and safety. And as we expand internationally, we reinforce trust and governance by strengthening cybersecurity, transparency, and ethical business conduct.
Together, these commitments form the foundation of how we create long-term value for people, planet, and society.
Each edition of our ESG Report marks progress – and also the challenges we still face. By sharing highlights, we want to give a glimpse of how our ambitions translate into concrete actions and results over time:
Highlights
Biodiversity pilots

ESG is not about regulation, it is about responsibility. From biodiversity to cybersecurity, from human rights in our supply chain to the wellbeing of our team. We see these themes not only as obligations, but as opportunities to lead.
Our ESG Report is more than numbers. It is a transparent account of where we stand today, the progress we have made, and the challenges we are addressing on the road to 2030.
